CUT RESISTANT GLOVES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN HANDLING Metglas^® DT CORES.

• The Metglas^® transformer core alloy utilized in these cores is cast in extremely thin and sharp ribbons (25 - 50 µm).
• Finger marks may cause core corrosion.

Please wear appropriate safety equipment when handling Metglas^® DT cores.

Some standard safety equipment includes:

• Safety glasses with side shields
• Cut resistant safety gloves
• Protective clothing
• Safety shoes

Packaging/Shipping

Metglas^® DT cores are packaged to offer 3 levels of protection:

1. Rigid corrugated exterior packaging is pallet-mounted to minimize
   physical damage during handling.
2. Polyethylene barrier provides moisture resistance.
3. Interior core wrap inhibits corrosion.

For maximum protection, please keep core sealed within package until ready for installation.

Your DT core package is suitable for weather-protected shipment by truck or airfreight. For overseas shipment, package must be containerized or enclosed in additional protective crating.

Note: Depending on your specific method of shipping, additional measures of product protection may be required.
