the early beginnings of Metglas in 1970, while
located in Morristown, New Jersey, Quality
was always a considerable factor in determining
our process's & development.
In
1989 Metglas opened it's world class, production
facility in Conway SC. with the same Quality
principles in mind.
Quality is what has helped establish Metglas
as the worlds leading producer of Amorphous
Metal Ribbon, and magnetic components.
From our in-line quality inspections to
the final inspections of products prior
to shipment, quality drives our business
from raw materials to finished products.
Metglas
was Certified to ISO9002:1994 on November
15, 1994, to show it's Quality commitment
to the rest of the world. Metglas has sustained
ISO certification from that time on.
Metglas Currently holds the ISO 9001:2008
Certification under
the current scope of:
Design,
develop and manufacture of amorphous metal
ribbon, braze and solder foils, pre-forms
and cores for use in power distribution,
electronic, electronic surveillance, and
specialty application including: pulse cores,
distribution transformer cores and electronic
cores.
